Welcome home, we’re happy to host you
Upstate Daydreamers is a collaborative hospitality project by three friends founded in 2020. We joined forces for closer proximity to nature, a slower-paced lifestyle, and the opportunity to warmly host friends, family, and guests. Special loving thank you to all our beloved crew for making this joyous pirate ship come alive!

The Suite
A spacious attached suite for 1-3 guests, inspired by धर्मशाला (dharamshala: Himalayan rest-houses for spiritual pilgrims). The vibe is cozy, quiet, safe, peaceful, and comfortable.
The Suite has its own separate exterior entrance and is connected by a locking interior door to the main house’s kitchen and dining room. Host family lives on-site upstairs; we’re available if there are questions or emergencies, but we’ll leave you alone and let you relax.
Please note, we're no longer serving breakfast at The Suite - visit our restaurant Dorjee Momo for complimentary dumplings instead! Inside Tubby's at 586 Broadway in Kingston, every Tuesday to Saturday from 5-10pm.

How do I get there?
Upstate Daydreamers is located in zip code 12401, between the town of Rosendale and the city of Kingston, New York. Direct access to Route 32, which leads 8 minutes north into Kingston or 8 minutes south into New Paltz.
Upstate Daydreamers is accessible via Trailways Bus Service between Penn Station and Kingston, as well as MetroNorth train service between Grand Central and Poughkeepsie. For a ride to/from the train station to Kingston, we recommend Paddy’s Cab call-ahead taxi service, Lyft, or Uber. Renting a car is a great option for maximum mobility as on-demand apps are less available than in NYC.
What is there to do?
Check out our recommendations for local farms, shops, restaurants, and nature activities. On-site you can just relax and enjoy yourself, spend time outside and offline.
Sleep in and take naps; play games in front of the fireplace; build a fire outside to roast s’mores
Soak in a bubble bath in the clawfoot tub; unwind in the jacuzzi
Explore the natural spring and tiny creek; go for a gentle hike in the forest; kayak on the pond
Feed the chickens and collect eggs; birdwatching; look for wildlife like deer, woodchucks, rabbits, foxes, ducks, geese, herons, and turtles
Relax in the hammock or grass; do yoga, meditate, journal, write, read a book, knit, play guitar
We can also host several activities including terrarium-building, plein air painting, foraging, collage-making, cooking classes, 35mm portrait/candid mini-shoots
