The Cottage
COMING FEB 2025
A calm, private retreat with nature at your door
The Cottage design is inspired by 한옥 (hanok: traditional Korean farmhouses) and the earth-centric midcentury modern design of Russell Wright’s Manitoga. The exterior koi pond and fairy garden are inspired by the work of landscape architect James Rose.
The cottage has on-site parking. Cottage guests have a private fire pit and full access to the jacuzzi cabana, pond, and 14.2 acres of woods.

What is there to do?
Check out our recommendations for local farms, shops, restaurants, and nature activities. On-site you can just relax and enjoy yourself, spend time exploring outside, or work remotely.
Sleep in and take naps; play games in front of the fireplace; build a fire outside to roast s’mores
Soak in a bubble bath in the clawfoot tub; unwind in the jacuzzi
Explore the natural spring and tiny creek; go for a gentle hike in the forest; kayak on the pond
Feed the chickens and collect eggs; birdwatching; look for wildlife like deer, woodchucks, rabbits, foxes, ducks, geese, herons, and turtles
Relax in the hammock or grass; do yoga, meditate, journal, write, read a book, knit, play guitar and piano
We can also host several activities including terrarium-building, plein air painting, foraging, collage-making, cooking classes, and 35mm portrait/candid mini photo shoots.
